Our Pilates classes are designed to help you build confidence, strength, and flexibility while mastering the core principles of Pilates, and our expert teachers are dedicated to ensuring you feel supported every step of the way. Whether you’re a beginner learning the basics or an experienced student refining your technique, we’ll guide you through the choreography of each exercise with clear instruction and personalized attention.

For equipment classes, our instructors will teach you how to manage the mechanics of the equipment and will make sure you feel secure and in control during every session. For those with injuries or physical conditions, we’re here to provide thoughtful modifications so you can get the most out of your workout while honoring your body’s unique needs.

BEGINNER EQUIPMENT

A Level 1 class for beginners, new clients, clients new to Vitality, or anyone looking to learn and work on the fundamentals and foundations of Pilates. This class will allow you to experience equipment Pilates in all planes and positions, allowing you to move on to other class formats. 

We recommend taking 6-8 classes to be permitted for Level 2 classes.

MODERATE EQUIPMENT

A level 2 class featuring intermediate exercises on the equipment providing a moderate challenge and pace. This class will challenge your strength and flexibility. Ideal for those looking to refine their technique and build a solid foundation for advanced workouts.

 

MODERATE EQUIPMENT & STRETCH

This class is moderately challenging and features intermediate exercises on the equipment with a focus on flexibility, stretching, and release work. It’s Ideal for those looking to refine their technique and increase their flexibility.

 

MODERATE REFORMER & JUMPBOARD

This is a Level 2 class featuring intermediate exercises that move at a moderately challenging pace.  It combines equipment exercises with the Pilates jumpboard—a fun workout that’s easy on the joints. 

This class is designed for experienced practitioners and offers a dynamic blend of strength, flexibility, endurance, and a touch of cardio.

 

BODHI

Bodhi means “to awaken.” This class utilizes the Bodhi suspension system, which combines the precision and alignment of Pilates with balance and strength challenges. 

By using this apparatus, you’ll achieve improvements in total body strength, core control, balance, and posture.

 

COMMUNITY PILATES

Our community class is an all-level reformer Pilates class taught by our teacher trainees working to finish their certification. Prior Pilates reformer or Beginner Equipment class experience is required.

INTENSE EQUIPMENT

A level 3 class featuring advanced exercises on the equipment providing an intense challenge and pace. This class will challenge your strength and flexibility. Ideal for experienced practitioners looking to intensify their workout and achieve peak performance.

 

INTENSE REFORMER & JUMPBOARD

This is a Level 3 class featuring advanced exercises that move at a moderately challenging pace.  It combines equipment exercises with the Pilates jumpboard—a fun workout that’s easy on the joints. 

This class is designed for experienced practitioners looking to challenge their limits and offers a dynamic blend of strength, flexibility, endurance, and a touch of cardio. 

VERY INTENSE EQUIPMENT

A level 4 class featuring advanced exercises on the equipment providing an intense challenge and pace. This class will challenge your strength and flexibility and is perfect for experienced practitioners looking to intensify their workouts. 

Please note: This is an advanced class that will push your physical limits and offer little to no breaks for the entirety of your session.

CARDIO FUSION

This Level 4 class is for clients with plenty of experience looking for a unique fitness challenge. It’s designed to improve the cardiovascular system, muscle strength, endurance, and muscle balance.

BUFF BONES

Buff Bones® is a challenging multi-level class integrating Pilates, strength training, and functional movement to improve the health and longevity of bones and joints. It’s also perfect for improving overall strength and balance. Buff Bones® is safe and medically endorsed for those with osteoporosis or osteopenia.

Equipment used: 

Pilates mat

Hand weights (or two cans)

A folded towel or small head cushion

Prerequisites: You must have the ability to go from standing to the floor (and vice versa) without assistance. 

 

MAT

This class is for all levels and is solely focused on mat Pilates exercises giving you a full-body workout. All you need is a mat to participate—we will not utilize any other equipment. 

 

MAT & PROPS

Hand weights (or two cans)

Theraband (or tights/leggings)

Magic circle or belt

Gliding disks (or washcloths for hardwood/paper plates for carpet)

 

MULTI-LEVEL BALANCE

This class combines traditional Pilates exercises with standing balance practice. Clients of all ages and experience level can benefit from balance classes. As we age, balance-focused classes help us train our vestibular system and prevent falls. Balance classes also improve your ability to control and stabilize your body’s position and improves proprioception.

Equipment used: 

Pilates mat 

Foam roller

Theraband (or tights/leggings)

Prerequisites: Clearance from your healthcare provider after vertigo or other vestibular disturbances are diagnosed.

 

INTENSE MAT

This class is for intermediate to advanced clients who are ready for a challenge. Your instructor will take you through a full-body workout, and all you need to participate is a mat. 

Prerequisites: permission for Level 3 (or Level 4). Permission from your healthcare provider to exercise. No evidence of acute injuries or unmanaged conditions. Those with spinal conditions should be cautious of loaded flexion exercises. Ask your instructor if you are unsure about your participation.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose my class?

Navigate to our class schedule here and search for the class level and format you’d like to try. Click “book” and you’ll be directed to confirm your participation. 

 

What should I wear?

We recommend wearing comfortable workout attire like a tank top and sports bra with leggings or bike shorts. We also recommend that you wear grip socks.  

 

What should I bring with me?

Please make sure you bring a water bottle to your class. You might also want to bring a small sweat towel. Everything else will be provided. 

 

Can I still attend class with an injury?

Yes, you may still take classes with us if you’re injured. Many of our instructors are trained to help with physical rehabilitation. If you’re unsure of which class to take, please reach out and we’d be happy to guide you.

Can I take a class if I’m pregnant? 

Yes! Many of our classes are pregnancy-safe if you’re feeling up to it. Some of our members have even continued to practice until the end of their third trimester. Please speak with our team if you’re unsure which classes are best suited for pregnancy. 

 

Is there a weight limit for the equipment?

Our equipment does have a weight limit of 400 lbs, which allows us to accommodate a wide range of Pilates enthusiasts. 

 

If this is my first time at Vitality, is there anything else I need to know?

Yes! We’re a warm, welcoming studio that’s both inclusive and community-focused. If you’re new, feel free to introduce yourself to your instructor at the start of class—we’ll make sure you feel comfortable and confident throughout your time with us.
