Wouldn't it be ideal to feel stronger after recovering from your injury than you did before it occurred?
Pilates based physical therapy maximizes your healing process and physical recovery by combining the principals of Pilates with physical medicine. When incorporating Pilates based training with other physical therapy treatments, the body tends to respond rapidly, resulting in more fluid, pain free movements while improving your overall bio mechanical stability and rehabilitation. |
Michele employs a systemic approach to the healing process. This method is unique in that it addresses the mechanical functioning of the entire body, rather than just your injury. Your recovery plan will often include specific therapeutic exercise instruction, manual techniques (hands on treatment) along with postural and preventive education. This holistic approach fosters the development of core strength, building a lasting foundation for long term health. Michele is also certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation and has had great success in treating patients with vertigo and balance related problems. |
