Our Training Philosophy

Our curriculum integrates the original workings of Joseph H. Pilates with adaptive applications based on the most current research and understanding of the human body. Students are trained in the full spectrum of Pilates equipment including the Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Mat, Ladder Barrel, Ped-O-Pull and props such as foam rollers, magic circles and resistance bands.

We train our instructors to use language, visual and tactile cues to empower their clients, resulting in proper muscle sequencing, building strength, aligning joints and lengthening muscles. Detailed instruction is also given to anatomy, kinesiology and pathology as they relate to Pilates.
