At Vitality we honor individuality, believing everyone is unique and wise. We see a direct connection between intelligent exercise and personal well being. Approaching Pilates training with an emphasis on correct form and technique, we aim to increase our student’s physical activity, mental agility and personal happiness.
Where will certification from Vitality Pilates take you?
Some of our graduates aim to teach Pilates in studios around the world and others are successful instructors or studio owners here in Seattle! Past Vitality graduates have become personal trainers and physical therapists, while others enjoy careers as Instructor Training Specialists and Program Directors. |
Vitality’s School of Instructor Certification offers students a highly personalized experience through small class sizes and multiple training programs. All of our students start by studying Pilates at its most elemental level, focusing on the foundational principles that distinguish Pilates from other disciplines. As students learn to apply each principle properly, they begin to produce the most efficient use of each muscle, maximizing the benefits of each exercise.
Our curriculum integrates the original work of Joseph H. Pilates with adaptive applications of current physical research. It also incorporates a unique focus in calming the nervous system, awakening the deepest muscle layers in the body leading to inclusive joint support and balanced muscle use.
Students receive continual, in depth training on the full spectrum of Pilates equipment including the Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Mat, Ladder Barrel, Ped-O-Pull and Props such as foam rollers, magic circles and resistance bands. In addition, both our Level 1 and Level 2 Programs include an introduction to Anatomy, Kinesiology and Pathology as they relate to Pilates. |
