Intro Series
Please note these important details:
• Each Intro Series session is 7 weeks long and run on alternating start dates. Because of this you may be in your first week in the Orange Series while the Yellow Series is in its fourth. During the first two weeks of a session please limit your attendance only to classes that are in your same color series. This way you will receive a workout suitable to your experience level.
• You must cancel your spot in a class 18 hours prior to the class’s start time in order to make up the class. If you do not cancel within the allotted time, your class credit is lost. Even if you do not think you can make up the class, please cancel your reservation as a courtesy to other students who may want to occupy your spot.
• You can cancel a class anytime throughout the course of your series.
• You can reserve make-up classes one day in advance.
• If you reserve a makeup class during the 1st week of an alternating series there is a possibility that you may be removed from that class. If a newly registering student chooses your make up time as one of their regularly scheduled classes, they would have priority over you as a make-up student. If you are removed for a class, you will be notified as soon as possible. All other weeks of your registration are guaranteed.
• Registered clients who are more than 7 minutes late for class may lose their spot to a drop-in student.
Reservations and Make-Up Classes for Introductory Series
At the start of each Introductory Series you are issued 14 to 21 class credits based on the package you purchased. Our staff will reserve your space in our online system for each class time. If you cannot attend one of these classes, you can cancel the reservation and use that credit to reserve a make-up class from your personal computer. Please see the “Online Software Guidebook” for technical instructions on using our online scheduling program.
What should I know about making up missed Intro classes?
You can make up a missed class before, during, or after the week of the missed class, providing there is space available, you canceled that class within the allowed time and your Intro Series package is still active. For example, if you miss a class in Week 2, you can take an extra class in Week 1, 2, or any week thereafter within the 7 week class period you purchased.
To attend a make-up class, you can either reserve a spot online up to 18 hours before its start time or drop in on a class. Let the teacher know which class you’re from and how many classes you’ve taken. Drop in classes can be taken on a space available basis. The best way to get into a class as a drop in is to reserve a space online and show up on time. Registered students always have priority, unless they are more than 7 minutes late.
Waitlist
• Students can add their name to a waitlist when a class they wish to attend is full. If you add your name to the waitlist and someone cancels, you will receive an email confirmation, alerting you that you have been added to the class. Please make sure your email spam filters are set to allow messages from Info@VitalityPilates.com to ensure you receive proper notification.
• If you are on the waitlist and know you cannot attend a class, please remove your name from the waitlist.
Late Cancels, Extenuating Circumstances and Unused Classes
If your child wakes up with pink eye or your car has a flat tire and you can’t cancel your class prior to 18 hours, please call us. We are extremely reasonable and will do our best to accommodate you. We will gladly return a class credit to your package, if extenuating circumstances have prevented you from attending or canceling your class on short notice.
Roll-Over and Refund Policy
Because Vitality only offers small classes, we base decisions on class scheduling and teacher availability on our registration numbers. For this reason, Vitality has a “no refund” policy. However, we are extremely accommodating if you are unable to finish your series, or need to change the days and times you originally asked for:
• If you need to change the days and times within your series to better suit your schedule, we are happy to accommodate you, (provided there is room in class) at no extra charge. You can also use the online system to drop into your newly desired class times.
• If you need to postpone enrollment in an Intro series, and the series has not yet started, you can hold your package for up to 6 months for a $30 fee.
If you miss classes during your Intro series due to illness, injury, emergencies, or forgetfulness, you have two options of rolling them over to your next package:
1. When you purchase an Intro series package before or immediately after your current one ends, you can roll over your missed classes for $3 per class.
2. You can pay the drop in rate of $24 per class for the classes you took during the Intro series, and roll over the full Intro series to the next session. This is the best deal for people who missed the majority of the series.
In either case:
• Rollovers can be used on a space available basis, using the online system to reserve your spot.
• Rollovers are only available to people who have current packages. (No make-ups after your series ends)
• You have 7 weeks, (one series) to make up the classes from the previous series. A class can only be rolled over once.
• The staff will not reserve space for you. You can either drop in and take a chance that there is room, or use the online system to reserve a space up to a day before it runs. (IE: logging in on Sunday to reserve a class any day on Sunday or Monday)
Registering for the Next Introductory Series
To guarantee space in a future Class Series we recommend registering 2 weeks prior to the end of your current series. You must do this before every Class Series; your space will not automatically be held.
We recommend our students complete multiple Intro Series sessions before progressing into Multi Level classes. To move from Intro to Multi Level classes, you must have permission from your instructor, to ensure you and your body are prepared to participate in such an advanced level of training. If you have questions or concerns regarding your training and skill level, we recommend you speak openly with your instructor, so your questions can be addressed promptly and correctly.
